Mission Moment
A year ago we prayed that God would bless our ABW Ministries Retreat with 100 women and 10 girls. We invited women to COME and be renewed, refreshed, and empowered. God did answer our prayers with great abundance.

We enjoyed worship lead by the Praise Team from First Baptist Dixon. Our Bible Study leader was Henrietta Brown from St. Louis, we enjoyed hearing from missionary Debbie Miller, and our hearts were touched by the HER Stories shared by women who have been called to special ministries throughout our region.
We closed out our 3 year mission project of Breaking The Chains – helping our many missionaries – both national and international working with victims of Human Trafficking and kicked off our new mission project. Our new project will be raising funds to help by a large 15 passenger van for our missionary, Trevor Jones, in
We enjoyed shopping at the Second Hand Rose Jewelry Shop and Gently Used But Greatly Loved Book Store. There were many nice workshops to attend, one led by our own Polly Bilyeu, on “Let the Walls Talk” – how to make your church bulletin boards current and colorful, she was joined by Marcia Juriga and Janet Olyer who led a workshop on our One Church – One School Program and Terry Maurizio led a workshop on the work the American Baptist Men have been doing in our region.
